Opéra National de Paris
Created in the XVIIth century, the Corps de Ballet of the Paris Opera, the world’s oldest academic dance company, has continuously developed its art. Steps, techniques and inspirations are constantly renewed while maintaining the greatest respect for tradition. This is also true for Merlet, the master shoemaker working behind the scenes and the official footwear provider for the Paris Opera. Working closely with the dancers, this highly skilled craftsman improves the comfort, lightness and elegance of dancing slippers for the stars and now for you, too, every day.
